Triage Services

The Desert/Mountain SELPA Prevention and Intervention Team and The Desert Mountain Children’s Center have coalesced around a new intensive effort in providing enhanced partnerships and mental health supports in our High Desert region. Together, we are working with education and community mental health agencies to coordinate and deliver wellness services to children. In addition, our new specialized Outreach Team works with families, caregivers, and students by bridging resources and providing more intensive and collaborative efforts with the community. This growing effort will provide a multi-tiered system of prevention, intervention, and triage supports that includes early identification, crisis intervention and stabilization, mobile crisis support, intensive case management, and resource connections for children and youth.
